Last week was the 'Fun Walk'. This yr the fun walk was held on Thursday. Usually it is held on Friday, but the weather forecast wasn't looking good for it to be held on the usual Day. The day was really great, and i really enjoyed myself. The colours for each year were as follows: 1st yr- Pink, 2nd- Purple, 3rd- Green, TY/4th- Yellow, 5th- Blue, 6th yr- Black/White.Al of the years put on really good shows for the school. In TY there's three TY classes. We are named after 'Disney Princess', so each class decided to do a Disney theme to our dance. The fun walk isn't just about dancing, it should be related to anti-bullying in some way, as part of anti-bullying week in our school also. So because of this my tutor class(Belle) along side Mr. Lawlor(out tutor), said that we would do a 'Beauty and The Beast' theme, in which the beast(Sinead Lee) is pushed around and being laughed at by the rest of the people that she though were her friends... and belle( Mr. Lawlor) encourages us to treat the beast with respect and be kind to one another. I think the majority of our class and definitely Mr. Lawlor thought we would win between the rest of the TY classes, BUT...... WE DIDN'T. Today our class had double PE with Mr. Lawlor, and he was joking saying that if could follow up on the results he would... he said he thought the judging was unfair and that our class should have definitely of won.... It was quite funny... Poor Mr. Lawlor was convinced we had it in the bag! hahaha. After every danced the whole school had to go on the'FUN WALK'. it took a 1/2 hour to complete... which wasn't to bad... When that was over it was near enough to 4 o'clock so in that case everyone decided to leave the school until the next day(tomorrow)..I can't wait until next years 'Fun Walk', and will look forward to doing the dance in aid of' Anti- Bullying and going on the walk with the rest of the school. I wonder which tutor I'll have next year!

Oh my God!TY is going by so fast!So far I've really been enjoying TY. Its been an amazing experience so far.Last week over 80 of us from class Belle, Aurora and Ariel went to Carlingford Adventure Center in Co. Louth... I have to say... one of the best Experiences ever! For the two days whilst at Carlingford i don't think i have laughed so much. The Day we were due to go to Carlingford the bus left the ESSO station at around 7.10am, and then we were 'off & away'. When i finally arrived in Carlingford i was exhausted from two hours travelling in a bus, that i couldn't wait to get out and start right into the activities. When my class mates and i got off the bus we were welcomed by the staff/ leaders at Carlingford.... We then had to walk a good 5mins and a little bit to the center to where we would be staying. There we were all then again welcomed by more leaders at Carlingford Adventure Center, followed by a few rules(you have to have those), room situations and activities we would be doing that day. There was seven girls staying in our room... Myself, Ciara, Chloe, Sarah, Sophie, Vanessa and Olivia. We all loved each others company. When we were given our rooms we roughly only had 10-15mins to change into some 'old' clothes.First we went Canadian Boating... that was so much fun. all the girls in my group were continuously singing songs and having a blast! With us were two instructors, one named 'Dave', and the other i'm not sure of. When we arrived to our destination(a little beach) we all walked/ went into a little cave to where 'ice cold' water was thrown over our heads... Apparently if we did this, it was know that we would live an extra day of our lives.... so course i was going to do it.... When i was in the cave i kept saying that we were all about to do the' ALS Ice bucket Challenge'. When it was my turn i couldn't wait. Once the water hit my head i screamed so loud... it was very funny and we all had such a laugh. Later that day we all went to an 'assault' course... basically this is a pile of obstacle courses and challenges. One in particular i remembered was the undergrond maze... if there was a '#' to describe this in would say #TERRIFYING'... It was very stuffy and very claustrophobic, but good craic. That night me and all my friends had dinner, then got a Chinese later that night.... followed by having a bit of banter, eating sweets and going to bed.... THE NEXT DAY WILL BE TYPED ON A FOLLOW ON BLOG... i'd say who ever's reading is getting quite bored. so i'm going to stop now!!!
